Career & Technology Foundations/Fine Arts (CTF/FA)
Developed a plan for the coming year that is different from what it has been in previous years. Mandatory this year every student will have a chance to experience all of the options available. Will be using an Exploration Wheel where each grade will cycle through each area so that they can learn a little about each for the first session. Then they will choose which option they would like to spend more time in and learn more about and will be divided for the second session. Every other day students will have a double block of CTF/FA which will make it easier for doing cooking etc

Atomic 13
Beakerhead advances the understanding of science and engineering as part of everyday life – through art and culture, it’s where science and design meet. It is related to the Think, Make , Learn, Move event that took place last year.  They put out a challenge to schools and that challenge is called Atomic 13 “Larger Than Life”. Challenge takes place Friday, September 18 and will have the kids from different grades working together and working on cooperation and scale measuring. The school will be needing some smaller building supply items from parents including tin foil, paper towel rolls, toilet paper rolls and plastic lids.
Teachers are attending a Maker Fair this weekend

Open House/Meet the Teacher
